The truth is I have been wedding-obsessed most of my life. As a young girl I would often buy a wedding magazine and plan a wedding from within its pages. Something I am quite sure my Father prayed I would grow out of as I got older, but things just got worse for this self-proclaimed "wedding snob".
Planning my own wedding was one of the best times in my life. I truly loved every moment of it. I had a fantastic wedding planner that I simply loved working with. She was my rock through all the drama and became a friend and mentor to me during the planning process. I drew from her knowledge and expertise and together we planned a fantastic day that was everything I had ever dreamt of (and let me remind you that there was a lot of dreaming).
I have spent the last 6 years working in the wedding industry learning the business and gaining the knowledge needed to live my passion…weddings! I truly do love what I do and because it is my passion, I could not be happier doing it.
I love seeing a brides vision come together, how her special touches and well thought out decision making highlights the evening and make it "the best wedding" her guests have even been to (a comment I have the pleasure of hearing often). Being an instrument in making the day go off without a hitch is the greatest feeling in the world and nothing compares to knowing you helped two people in love start their lives together in a positive way! I am blessed to live in an amazingly beautiful place, have amazing family and friends, and most of all to love what I do. What more could a girl ask for?
